We were honored to have created the graphics and animation for a major scientific announcement out of UC Berkeley. Using data from Kepler Space Telescope, scientists Geoffrey Marcy, Andrew Howard and Erik Petigura have made the historic discovery that one in five of the sun-like stars in the universe have Earth-size planets. That's about 40 billion planets that could support life in the Milky Way galaxy.
